About us

Matt and Lisa Allen have been committed to the South Florida community for over three decades—it is their home, their heritage, where they raised their children, built lifetime friendships, and celebrated countless family milestones.

The Allens exemplify what it means to give back. Matt himself has been personally involved in raising over seven figures for multiple charities and nonprofit organizations, among them Jackson Health Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami, and United Way. His tireless efforts earned him a BASF Award for Philanthropist of the Year—and that’s just the start of his tremendous accomplishments.

It’s not surprising that Matt and Lisa’s children would follow their parents’ lead, establishing and organizing an annual Haunted House event, Scaring for Caring, for six years before they went off to college. The most recent event saw 1000+ visitors and raised $300,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami, UHealth Jackson Children’s Care and Holtz Children’s Hospital. Scaring for Caring grew into a high school homecoming, dance-a-thon, and block party, all which supported children who needed it most.

Lisa herself has worked ardently on countless charitable programs with Junior League of Miami. Matt and Lisa have consistently reflected on their good fortune, grateful to have been given the opportunity to pursue their respective schooling, enrich their own lives, and provide the same opportunities to their children. Now, they’re focused on empowering less fortunate youth by helping them reach their most ambitious goals across the communities they call home.

The Matt & Lisa Allen Family Foundation will partner with an increasing number of charities to expand the breadth of the communities they serve and the resources they provide. All proceeds raised by The Matt and Lisa Allen Family Foundation will go directly to the charity or recipient in need.
